My work explores the relationship between Critical theory and life as performance. With influences as diverse as Rousseau and L Ron Hubbard, new tensions are distilled from both opaque and transparent textures.
Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the moment. What starts out as hope soon becomes debased into a dialectic of power, leaving only a sense of unreality and the dawn of a new beginning.
As shimmering phenomena become distorted through studious and academic practice, the viewer is left with a tribute to the possibilities of our era.
